THE SKIN THAT WE LIVE IN

Enfrentarme a una nueva película de Almodovar para mi siempre supone algo emocionante. Realmente me es indiferente las críticas que genera, porque a mi ( después de conocer toda su filmografía, lo que siempre te hace entender mejor a un director) siempre me conquista.


Watch a new Almodovar´s film f is always exciting. for me. It don´t really matters all the criticism it generates, because to me (after seeing all of his films, which always makes you better understand a director) always wins me over.







La piel que habito, no es un punto y aparte en su carrera. Yo la veo como una parada en el cámino, cuando te detienes en tu ruta y reflexionas sobre cosas que te han pasado. Es muy importante ver la película sin conocer muy bien su argumento, te sorprenderá más.

The skin I live in , is not a turning point in his career. I see it as a stop on the way, when you stop in your route and reflect on things that have happened. It is very important to see the movie without knowing very well his argument, it will surprise you more.






Grandes planos, dirección de actores, etc. Una maravillosa escenografía, austera cargada de referencias artísticas: Louise Bourgeois o a la Venus de Urbino de Tiziano..

A veces los seres humanos vivímos obcecados en nuestras creencias , sin ver que el cubo que es la vida tiene más "lados". Y en muchas ocasiones ese cegamiento nos lleva a arruinar nuestras vidas o incluso a acabar con ellas. Creación y destrucción , son dos palabras con un línea de separación muy fina; como amor/odio o vida/ muerte.

Sometimes human beings live stubborn in our beliefs, without seeing the cube that life is , with more "sides". And sometimes that blinding , bring to us ruin to our lives or even kill them. Creation and destruction are two words with a very thin dividing line, as love/ hate and life /death.






Si quereis disfrutar de la magia del cine, de las pasiones y obsesiones humanas no dudéis en ir. Cuando salgais del cine intentad ir más para allá, y pensad en todo lo que tienen esos personajes a sus espaldas. Os hará entender mucho mejor esta inquientante historía.
